Our Take

Howlin Wolf's latest album, "Sings The Blues," is a howling good time from start to finish. The legendary bluesman's gravelly vocals are as powerful as ever, cutting through each track like a knife through butter.

From the opening track, "Shake for Me," to the closing number, "Moanin' at Midnight," Howlin Wolf's iconic growl never fails to impress. His raw, emotive delivery is perfectly complemented by the soulful guitar licks and rolling drums that dominate the album.

Standout tracks include the slow-burning "Spoonful," which showcases Wolf's ability to convey pain and longing in just a few short verses, and the rollicking "Evil," which is sure to get even the most reluctant listener tapping their feet.
