Our Take
Upon initially diving into A Place to Bury Strangers' latest offering, "See Through You," one might feel as though they've stumbled into the sonic equivalent of a haunted funhouse. The band's signature blend of shoegaze-tinged noise rock is on full display here, with walls of reverb-drenched guitars and pulsating bass lines that threaten to swallow you whole. Lead vocalist Oliver Ackermann's haunting vocals float eerily above the chaotic maelstrom of sound, adding an extra layer of intensity to the album.
