Upon first listen, Waysted's "Save Your Prayers" might seem like your typical 80s hair metal album, complete with catchy hooks and powerful guitar riffs. But as you delve deeper into the tracks, you'll realize that there is so much more to this record than meets the eye. Lead vocalist Fin Muir's gritty vocals are reminiscent of a young Rod Stewart, with a touch of punk rock attitude thrown in for good measure. His passionate delivery on tracks like "Walls Fall Down" and "Toy With the Passion" will have you headbanging along in no time. Guitarist Ronnie Kayfield shines on this album, showcasing his impressive soloing skills on every track. His blistering solos on "Wild Night" and "Heaven Tonight" are highlights of the album, adding a touch of virtuosity to the band's already impressive sound.
