The larger-than-life persona of the one and only Judge Dread, born Alexander Minto Hughes, left an indelible mark on the music scene with his unique blend of reggae, ska, and comedy. With a larger than life stage presence and a penchant for risque lyrics, Judge Dread took the music world by storm in the 1970s, becoming known as the King of Bawdy Songs. Armed with a quick wit and uncanny ability to blend cheeky humour with infectious beats, Judge Dread's music was as catchy as it was controversial. Tracks like "Big Six" and "Big Seven" propelled him to stardom, earning him a devoted following of fans who couldn't get enough of his raunchy lyrics and catchy melodies.
