Our Take

In the world of music, there are some bands that epitomize coolness, and then there's Reverend Rusty & The Case, who seem to have missed the memo entirely with their latest album, "Rough Times."

From the first discordant chords of the opening track, "Bumpy Road Blues," it's clear that this band is not afraid to take risks - even if those risks lead them straight into a musical pothole. The vocals are reminiscent of a cat screeching in the night, and the guitar solos sound like they were played by someone who just picked up the instrument yesterday.
