Our Take
The Cure's performance at Rock in Rio vol.2 was like a deliciously dark chocolate cake: rich, moody, and satisfyingly bittersweet. From the haunting opening notes of "Plainsong" to the crowd-pleasing encore of "Boys Don't Cry," Robert Smith and co. delivered a masterclass in goth rock excellence.
