Our Take

Ah, Roadhouse. A film so bad it's good, and a soundtrack to match. The Original Soundtrack album is a wild ride of 80s rock and cheese, perfectly capturing the essence of this cult classic.

From the opening track, "The Jeff Healey Band - Blue Jean Blues," you know you're in for a treat. Healey's soulful vocals combined with blistering guitar solos set the stage for what's to come. The album is a mix of bluesy ballads, like "Roadhouse Blues" by The Doors, and upbeat rock anthems, such as "Work Me Good" by The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

But it's not all smooth sailing. Some tracks, like "While You Were Gone" by Michael Kamen, fall flat and feel out of place in the overall soundtrack. And let's not forget about the cringe-inducing "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar, which is a low point in an otherwise enjoyable album.

Overall, the Roadhouse Original Soundtrack is a fun, nostalgic trip down memory lane.
