BACHDENKEL is not your average run-of-the-mill music artist. With a name that sounds like a mash-up of classical composer Johann Sebastian Bach and a quirky German word, this London-based group defies categorisation with their unique blend of progressive rock, jazz, and psychedelic influences. Formed in the early 1970s, BACHDENKEL quickly gained a cult following for their experimental sound and thought-provoking lyrics. Despite never achieving mainstream success, their albums have become highly sought after by collectors and music aficionados. Lead singer and guitarist Dennis Rea is the driving force behind BACHDENKEL's sound, with his virtuosic guitar playing and haunting vocals. Keyboardist Peter Kimberley adds a layer of complexity with his intricate arrangements and avant-garde sensibilities. Drummer Dave Conners holds down the rhythm with his dynamic and precise playing, while bassist Colin Swinburne provides a solid foundation for the band's sonic explorations.
