OVERKILL's latest album, "Relixiv", hits like a sledgehammer to the eardrums - in the best possible way. This New Jersey thrash metal legends have been giving us relentless riffs and blistering speed for over four decades, and they show no signs of slowing down on this release.
The album kicks off with the ferocious track "Another Day to Die", setting the tone for the rest of the record with its breakneck pace and shredding guitar solos. Frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth's vocals still pack a punch, sounding as fierce as ever.
Tracks like "Welcome to the Garden State" and "The Wings of War" showcase OVERKILL's signature blend of aggression and melody, while "Head of a Pin" stands out as a standout track with its infectious hooks and killer guitar work.
The band's musicianship is top-notch throughout the album, with each member bringing their A-game to the table.
