Our Take

Rods have certainly rattled more than just the cage with their latest album. The opening track, "Wild and Free", sets the tone for the entire record with its infectious energy and gritty guitar riffs. Lead vocalist Tommy Thunder delivers powerful vocals that command attention and set the stage for the wild ride ahead.

"Rock You All Night Long" is a standout track that showcases the band's knack for crafting catchy hooks and memorable melodies. The dynamic interplay between the guitars and Thunder's vocals creates a sense of urgency and excitement that is impossible to ignore.

The band's influences are clear throughout the album, with nods to classic rock icons such as AC/DC and Guns N' Roses. However, Rods manage to put their own stamp on the genre with their unique blend of hard-hitting riffs and anthemic choruses.

Tracks like "Born to Rock" and "Rattlesnake Shake" will have you headbanging in no time, while the powerful ballad "Love on the Run" shows a softer side to the band's sound. Overall, Rattle The Cage is a solid effort from Rods, showcasing their talent for crafting hard-hitting rock anthems that are guaranteed to get your blood pumping. So turn up the volume, grab a cold one, and get ready to rock out with Rods.

About the artist

The Rods

Introducing RODS, the enigmatic musical genius from the depths of East London. With a sound that can only be described as a cacophony of eclectic beats and soulful melodies, RODS has been making waves in the music industry since bursting onto the scene in 2015. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Prince, David Bowie, and Kate Bush, RODS has managed to carve out a unique niche for himself in the ever-evolving landscape of indie music. His lyrics are equal parts whimsical and thought-provoking, delving into topics ranging from love and heartbreak to the existential crisis of modern life. RODS' live performances are a sight to behold, with his dynamic stage presence and mesmerizing vocals captivating audiences wherever he goes. From intimate acoustic sets in underground bars to headline slots at major music festivals, RODS is a force to be reckoned with in the world of live music. Offstage, RODS is something of a mystery. Known for his eccentric fashion sense and penchant for quirky accessories, he prefers to let his music speak for itself. But one thing is for certain – RODS is a true original in a world of carbon copy artists. With his debut album set to drop later this year, RODS is poised to take the music world by storm. Keep an eye (and an ear) out for this rising star – you won't want to miss what he has in store.
