Anvil's latest album, "Pounding The Pavement," is like a blast from the past in the best possible way. These Canadian metal veterans have been pounding out the hits for over four decades, and they show no signs of slowing down on this latest offering.
From the opening track, "Bitch in the Box," to the thunderous closer, "Worn Out," Anvil deliver a relentless assault of headbanging riffs and blistering solos. The band's signature sound is as tight as ever, with Steve "Lips" Kudlow's wailing vocals cutting through the mix like a hot knife through butter.
