Though perhaps not a household name like some of his contemporaries, Wallis is a true unsung hero of the music world. Beginning his career as the guitarist for the legendary band the Pink Fairies, Wallis helped define the sound of 70s rock with his infectious riffs and larger-than-life stage presence. His work with the Fairies laid the groundwork for the punk and metal movements that would follow, making him a true pioneer of the genre. But Wallis didn't stop there. After leaving the Pink Fairies, he went on to join the equally iconic band Motorhead, solidifying his status as a bona fide rock god. His collaborations with frontman Lemmy Kilmister produced some of the band's most iconic tracks, including the anthemic "White Line Fever" and the hard-hitting "Motorhead." Despite his undeniable talent and influence, Wallis has never quite received the recognition he deserves. But that's all about to change.
