Our Take
Wishbone Ash's second album, Pilgrimage, is a head-scratchingly delightful romp through the world of 70s rock, complete with duelling guitar solos and more harmonies than you can shake a flannel shirt at. The British quartet effortlessly blends folk, blues, and prog rock influences to create a sound that is as unique as it is infectious. From the opening track "Vas Dis" with its infectious riffage to the epic closer "Valediction" that clocks in at over ten minutes, Pilgrimage is a journey worth taking.
