Running Wild has always been a band that's been unafraid to embrace the more outrageous side of metal. And with their latest album, "Pile of Skulls," they have certainly taken that ethos to the extreme.
From the moment the opening track, "Chamber of Lies," kicks in, you know you're in for a wild ride. The guitar riffs are as thunderous as ever, the vocals are as fierce as a pack of hungry wolves, and the overall sound is as bombastic as a pirate ship sailing into battle.
