Our Take
The Horn have burst onto the scene with their debut album "People Like Us," and let me tell you, it's as wild as a Saturday night down at the local pub. This band is like a mix tape of all your favourite indie bands, but with a sprinkle of their own unique flair. From the opening track, "Funky Town," it's clear that The Horn aren't your average band. They seamlessly blend elements of funk, punk, and good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll into a sonic cocktail that will leave you buzzing long after the album has finished. Lead singer Johnny Trumpet's voice soars over the catchy riffs and pulsating beats like a seagull on a stormy sea. He's got the swagger of Mick Jagger and the charm of Freddie Mercury, making for a frontman like no other. But it's not just Trumpet stealing the show here. The rest of the band members bring their A-game, with guitars blazing and drums pounding in perfect synchrony. Tracks like "Crazy Caravan" and "Disco Inferno" will have you tapping your feet and nodding your head uncontrollably.
