There are few things in life as pure and enchanting as the sweet sound of pan pipes. So naturally, when I heard about PAN PIPES' latest album, Play The Great Love Songs, my ears perked up like a meerkat on a caffeine high.

From the moment the first notes of "Unchained Melody" floated through the air, I was transported to a world where love reigns supreme, heartbreak is just a minor inconvenience, and the only thing that matters is hitting that high note flawlessly.

But as the album progressed, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. The cover of "My Heart Will Go On" lacked the emotional depth I was hoping for, and don't even get me started on their rendition of "Careless Whisper"- I felt like I was being serenaded by a flock of confused geese.
