About the artist
Iron and Wine
Sam Beam, better known by his stage name Iron & Wine, is a bearded troubadour hailing from South Carolina. With a voice as soothing as a cup of chamomile tea and a knack for heartfelt lyrics, Beam has been charming audiences for over two decades. Iron & Wine first caught the attention of the indie folk scene with his breakout album "The Creek Drank the Cradle" in 2002. Since then, he has released a string of critically acclaimed albums, each showcasing his masterful storytelling and intricate guitar work. Beam's music is like a warm hug on a cold day, inviting listeners to get lost in his evocative melodies and poignant lyrics. His songs have a way of cutting straight to the heart, eliciting emotions you didn't even know you had. Despite his success, Iron & Wine remains refreshingly down-to-earth. His live performances are intimate and introspective, with Beam often charming audiences with his witty banter and self-deprecating humour. Whether you're a seasoned fan or new to his music, Iron & Wine's discography offers a wealth of sonic gems waiting to be discovered. So pour yourself a glass of red wine, put on your favourite knit sweater, and let Iron & Wine whisk you away to a musical paradise. You won't regret it.
