Our Take
Our Take
Peter Tosh's Original Album Series is a true masterpiece that transcends time and space, just like that one time I got lost in my own house. This five-disc collection is a treasure trove of reggae goodness, with Tosh's soulful vocals and scorching guitar licks taking center stage.
From the iconic "Legalize It" to the rebellious "Equal Rights," each album in this series is a sonic journey through Tosh's revolutionary spirit and infectious grooves. It's like being on a rollercoaster made of silk - smooth, but with a hint of danger.
Tosh's lyrics are as sharp as ever, tackling political and social issues with a wit and wisdom that is unparalleled in the world of music. It's like listening to a really good TED talk, but with killer bass lines.
The production on these albums is top-notch, with each track sounding bigger and bolder than the last. It's like watching a fireworks display in surround sound - you can't help but be blown away.
Overall, Peter Tosh's Original Album Series is a must-have for any music lover. It's a reminder of Tosh's undeniable talent and the lasting impact he has had on the world of reggae. So grab a copy, kick back, and let the music take you on a journey you won't soon forget. Cheers to you, Peter Tosh.

About the artist
Peter Tosh
Peter Tosh, the reggae legend known for his fiery spirit and rebellious attitude, was born in Jamaica in 1944. Alongside Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer, Tosh formed the iconic reggae band The Wailers in the 1960s, bringing their revolutionary sound to the world. Tosh's solo career took off in the 1970s, with hits like "Legalize It" and "Equal Rights" cementing his status as a pioneer of reggae music. His powerful vocals and politically-charged lyrics made him a force to be reckoned with in the music industry, inspiring generations of artists to come. But Tosh's music wasn't the only thing that set him apart - his larger-than-life personality and sharp wit made him a true icon. Known for his love of marijuana and his fierce advocacy for human rights, Tosh was never one to shy away from controversy. His music was a reflection of his beliefs, tackling issues like oppression and inequality with unapologetic honesty. Tragically, Tosh's life was cut short in 1987 when he was tragically murdered in his home in Jamaica. But his legacy lives on through his timeless music, which continues to inspire and empower listeners around the world. Peter Tosh may be gone, but his rebellious spirit and revolutionary music will never be forgotten.
