Our Take

Ah, the Order of the Kite Volume 2, truly a mixed bag of musical oddities that leaves us scratching our heads in both admiration and confusion. This second installment in the series brings together a diverse range of artists, each with their own unique take on the concept of kite-flying.

From the psychedelic rock vibes of The Kite Flyers to the electronic soundscapes of Kite Krew, there's a little something for everyone on this album. The standout track for me has to be "Flying High" by The Wind Riders, a groovy disco-infused anthem that is sure to get you moving and grooving.

But not every track hits the mark, with some falling flat and failing to soar to the heights of their kite-flying counterparts. The experimental jazz fusion of The Kite Quartet left me feeling lost and bewildered, as if I had been caught in a gust of wind and whisked away to a musical dimension I couldn't quite comprehend.
