Obake's self-titled album is a trippy rollercoaster ride through the depths of avant-garde metal. With a sound that can only be described as a cross between Black Sabbath and a haunted house, this band doesn't hold back on the dark, eerie vibes.
From the moment the first track kicks in, you're transported to a musical underworld where demons dance and guitars wail like banshees. The haunting vocals of Oren Ambarchi add a layer of tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat, unsure of what horrors lie around the next musical corner.
But don't let the darkness fool you, there's a twisted sense of humour running through this album that will have you chuckling at the sheer audacity of the band.
