Our Take

Album Review: THERAPY - Nurse

In a world full of bland, generic music, THERAPY's latest album "Nurse" is a refreshing breath of fresh air. The British rockers have been at it for over three decades, and they show no signs of slowing down on this latest offering.

From the moment the opening track kicks in, you can tell you're in for a wild ride. The guitars are loud, the drums are pounding, and the vocals are full of energy. It's like being strapped into a rocket ship and being launched into the stratosphere.

But don't let the ferocious sound fool you - there's a surprising amount of depth to be found in these songs. Tracks like "Healing Hands" and "Mental Breakdown" tackle weighty subjects like mental health and addiction with grace and sensitivity.

One of the standout moments on the album is the epic 10-minute journey that is "Therapeutic Symphony." It's a bold move to close out the album with such an ambitious track, but THERAPY pulls it off with aplomb.

Overall, "Nurse" is a triumph for THERAPY. It's a wild, raucous, and ultimately cathartic listening experience that will leave you feeling both drained and exhilarated. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to the band, this album is not to be missed. Treat yourself to a dose of musical therapy - you won't regret it.

About the artist

Therapy?

Ah, Therapy. Quite the enigmatic figure in the music world, don't you think? This self-proclaimed musical healer has been making waves with their unique blend of indie pop and electronic beats. Hailing from the underground scene, Therapy has quickly risen to fame with their infectious hooks and insightful lyrics. Their debut album, "Sound Waves and Serotonin," was a critical darling, with Pitchfork commending their "ability to capture the essence of modern life in a single song." And their latest single, "Mental Breakdown," has been dominating the airwaves, solidifying Therapy's status as a force to be reckoned with in the industry. But it's not just their music that sets Therapy apart - it's also their quirky personality and offbeat sense of humour. From their wild stage antics to their outlandish fashion sense, Therapy is always keeping their audience on their toes. One minute they're serenading the crowd with a heart-wrenching ballad, the next they're jumping into the crowd and crowd-surfing like a man possessed. And let's not forget their infamous after-parties, where anything goes and the music never stops. I've had the pleasure of attending a few myself, and let me tell you, they are not for the faint of heart. But then again, neither is Therapy. So if you're looking for a musical experience that's equal parts thought-provoking and downright fun, look no further than this enigmatic artist. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
