Our Take

The latest addition to the iconic "NOW That's What I Call Music!" series has arrived, and it's a mixed bag of hits and misses. NOW 106 kicks off with a bang, featuring chart-toppers from the likes of Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, and Billie Eilish. These tracks are the perfect soundtrack for a summer road trip or a dance party in your living room.

However, as we dig deeper into the album, we start to encounter some questionable choices. The inclusion of some outdated tracks from yesteryear leaves us scratching our heads. Do we really need to hear "Macarena" for the millionth time? We think not.

One of the standout moments on NOW 106 is the collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber. Their track "I Don't Care" is a catchy pop gem that will have you singing along in no time. It's a welcome addition to an otherwise lacklustre lineup.

Overall, NOW 106 is a solid addition to the series, but it falls short of reaching the heights of its predecessors. The sequencing feels a bit off, and some of the song choices leave us wanting more. That being said, there are enough bops on here to keep you entertained for a while. So pop in the CD, turn up the volume, and enjoy the ride.
