Clocking in at a hefty 28,340 dead bodies (what a specific number!), this record is not for the faint of heart. The Montreal collective has always had a knack for creating sprawling, apocalyptic soundscapes, and this album is no exception. From the haunting strings of "Track 1" to the droning guitars of "Track 27,123," every moment feels like a descent into madness. But amidst the chaos and despair, there are moments of beauty and clarity.
