Our Take

Back in my day, a "sick moon" was just something I'd call in sick with to work the next day. But THEE OH SEES have taken that concept and turned it into their latest EP, Moon Sick. And let me tell you, this is one celestial ride you don't want to miss.

From the moment the first track kicks in, you're hit with a wave of psychedelic riffs and groovy beats that transport you to outer space. It's like a cosmic journey through a rock 'n' roll wormhole, with frontman John Dwyer leading the way like a spaced-out pied piper.

The band's signature blend of garage rock and punk energy is on full display here, with tracks like "The Sun Goes All Around" and "I Am What I Am" packing a punch that hits harder than a meteor shower. But it's not all loud and chaotic - there are moments of dreamy introspection, like on the hauntingly beautiful "Always Flying".
