Our Take
Ah, Coldplay, the band that made grown men cry into their pillows with hits like "Fix You" and "Yellow." Their latest effort, Moon Music, arrived on translucent red vinyl - because why settle for plain old black when you can have a little flair, eh? From the opening track, "Lunar Lullaby," it's clear that Coldplay have taken a departure from their usual stadium-filling anthems. Instead, they've opted for a more ethereal, spacey sound that wouldn't be out of place on a trip to the moon. Chris Martin's vocals float effortlessly over twinkling synths and shimmering guitars, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that's both captivating and slightly disorienting.
