Our Take
Luminare's Christmas album 'Mistletoe Madness' is a festive romp through the holiday season, complete with glittering production and enough jingle bells to make Santa himself jealous. From the opening track "Winter Wonderland" to the closing notes of "Silent Night," this album is a jolly, toe-tapping good time. The standout track has to be "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," which sees Luminare putting their own spin on the classic tune with infectious energy and playful lyrics. It's hard not to get swept up in the joy and nostalgia of it all. However, the album does have its missteps. The cover of "Last Christmas" falls a bit flat, lacking the emotion and depth of the original. And while "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is a solid effort, it can't quite capture the magic of Mariah Carey's iconic version. Overall, 'Mistletoe Madness' is a fun and spirited addition to your Christmas playlist. It may not reinvent the wheel when it comes to holiday music, but it's sure to bring a smile to your face and get you in the festive spirit.
