MOSKUS' latest offering, "Miraklerin," is a whimsical journey through the minds of three Norwegian musicians who definitely don't play by the rules.
From the very first track, "Squirrels and Rabbits Running Wild," you know you're in for a wild ride. The playful piano melodies dance around erratic drum beats and discordant saxophone squawks, creating a cacophonous yet strangely captivating listening experience.
On "Fish Fingers and Custard," the band takes a more subdued approach, layering delicate guitar strums with haunting vocals that float above the music like a ghostly apparition. It's a hauntingly beautiful track that showcases the band's versatility and ability to create atmosphere.
But it's on the closer, "The Great Cheese Heist of '99," where MOSKUS truly shine.
