Our Take

Ah, Masterplan's self-titled album on silver vinyl. A shining beacon in the world of power metal. This German supergroup, formed by ex-Helloween members Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch, truly deliver the goods on this 2003 release.

From the bombastic opening track "Spirit Never Die" to the epic closer "When Love Comes Close," Masterplan takes listeners on a rollercoaster ride of soaring vocals, blistering guitar solos, and thunderous drums. It's like a symphony of steel and glory, with enough cheese to satisfy even the most lactose-intolerant metalhead.
