Our Take
Ah, Badfinger – the band that's like the forgotten sibling of The Beatles, but with less fame and more tragedy. Magic Christian Music, their debut album, is a delightful mishmash of 60s psych-pop, folksy ballads, and a touch of whimsy that only a band named after a Beatles' song could pull off. From the infectious hooks of "Come and Get It" to the melancholic beauty of "Maybe Tomorrow", Badfinger prove that they could hold their own in the world of British Invasion bands.
