**MY LIFE STORY - Loving You Is Killing Me**

Ah, MY LIFE STORY - the band that just can't seem to catch a break. Their latest album, "Loving You Is Killing Me," is a rollercoaster of emotions, but unfortunately it's one that often feels like it's stuck in the kiddie section.

The album kicks off with the upbeat track "Love Is a Battlefield (And I'm Losing)," which sets the tone for the rest of the record - a mix of heartbreak, melodrama, and a sprinkle of self-deprecation. Lead singer Jake MacKenzie's vocals are as strong as ever, but sometimes it feels like he's trying a bit too hard to be the next Morrissey.

The standout track on the album has to be "I Can't Live Without You (But I'm Going to Try)," a heartfelt ballad that showcases the band's ability to tug at the heartstrings. It's a shame that the rest of the album doesn't quite reach the same heights.
