Our Take
Lizzy Borden's "Love You to Pieces" is a deliciously macabre romp through the realm of 80s heavy metal excess. From the moment the first power chords kick in, you know you're in for a wild ride. The band's theatricality and penchant for over-the-top lyrics are on full display here, with each track dripping with melodrama and campy charm. Borden's vocals are a highlight, combining the operatic flair of Rob Halford with the snarl of Alice Cooper.
