Our Take
Well, well, well, what do we have here? The Beatles Love, a mixtape of classics from the Fab Four sprinkled with a touch of Cirque du Soleil magic. Let's just say, it's like throwing a handful of glitter onto an already glittery unicorn - unnecessary, but undeniably fabulous. From the moment the album kicks off with the iconic "Because", you know you're in for a bumpy, psychedelic ride through the Beatles' greatest hits. The mashups and remixes may not be everyone's cup of English breakfast tea, but hey, even the most die-hard purists can appreciate a good twist every now and then, right? Tracks like "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and "A Day in the Life" are given a fresh coat of paint with whimsical soundscapes and unexpected transitions that will have you questioning reality in the best possible way. And let's not forget the infectious energy of "Hey Jude", which will have you belting out the chorus like you're auditioning for a West End musical. So, is The Beatles Love a necessary addition to your collection? Probably not. But is it a hell of a good time? Absolutely.
