Our Take
VIAL's latest album "Loudmouthin" is a raucous rollercoaster of rock n' roll rebellion, with enough attitude to make even the most stoic Brit start pogo-ing in their Union Jack socks. From the opening track "Bloody Hell" to the anthemic closer "Bollocks to You," this record is a non-stop barrage of blistering riffs and sardonic lyrics that will have you throwing up your middle fingers and shouting along at the top of your lungs. Frontman Johnny Bollocks snarls and sneers his way through each track with the swagger of a man who's just stolen the Crown Jewels and doesn't give a toss about the consequences. The rest of the band follows suit, laying down a wall of sound that hits harder than a punch-up outside the local pub on a Friday night. But beneath all the bravado and bravura, there's a surprising amount of depth to be found on "Loudmouthin." Tracks like "Tears in the Ale" and "Love in the Rubbish Bin" showcase a vulnerable side to VIAL that adds a layer of humanity to their otherwise bombastic sound. So, grab a pint, crank up the volume, and let VIAL take you on a wild ride through the seedy underbelly of British rock n' roll.
