Our Take

Uriah Heep’s “Look At Yourself” is a whirlwind of prog-rock wizardry that will have you questioning your own existence – in a good way, of course. This album is like a psychedelic journey through a carnival of sound, with David Byron’s vocals soaring to heights that would make even the tallest mountains jealous.

The production on this record is as tight as a pair of skinny jeans on a hipster, with each instrument blending seamlessly to create a sound that is both epic and intimate. The guitar solos are so face-meltingly good that you may want to invest in some SPF 50 before listening.

But what really sets “Look At Yourself” apart is its sheer audacity. This is an album that doesn’t just push the envelope – it rips it to shreds and dances on the remnants. From the bombastic opener “Look At Yourself” to the haunting closer “July Morning,” Uriah Heep refuse to play it safe, and the result is pure unadulterated rock ‘n’ roll bliss.

So, put on your best pair of platform boots, crank up the volume, and let Uriah Heep take you on a wild ride. Just make sure to buckle up – because this album is one hell of a trip. You may never look at yourself the same way again.
