Our Take

As I eagerly spun the latest release from Richard Tognetti and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, I couldn't help but be swept away by their mesmerising performances of Haydn Symphonies 49 & 104 and Mozart Symphony No. 25. This album is a delightful blend of classical masterpieces that showcase the incredible talent and chemistry of these musicians.

From the moment the first notes of Symphony No. 49 fill your ears, you are transported to a world of elegance and sophistication. The ACO's interpretation of this Haydn gem is nothing short of sublime, with Tognetti's expert leadership guiding the orchestra through each movement with precision and grace.

But it's not all just Haydn on this album. The ACO also tackles Mozart's Symphony No. 25 with aplomb, bringing a youthful energy and vigour to this beloved piece. The orchestra's tight ensemble and dynamic phrasing make for a thrilling listening experience that is sure to leave you craving more.
