Our Take

Review: ADOLESCENTS Live At The House Of Blues

Well, well, well, what do we have here? It seems the legendary punk rock band Adolescents have taken the stage at the House of Blues and boy, did they deliver. From the moment the first chord struck, you could feel the energy crackling in the air.

The Adolescents may have been around for decades, but let me tell you, they've still got it. These guys are like a fine wine - they only get better with age. The raw power and passion they bring to their performance is truly a sight to behold.

Tracks like "Amoeba" and "Kids of the Black Hole" had the crowd going wild. The mosh pit was a sea of flailing arms and flying bodies, but hey, that's just part of the punk rock experience, right?

But it was when they played their anthems like "I Hate Children" and "Creatures" that things really kicked into high gear. The band's intensity was palpable, and you couldn't help but be swept up in the chaos of it all.

So, if you're a fan of old-school punk or just someone looking for a good time, do yourself a favour and give Adolescents Live At The House Of Blues a listen. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

About the artist

Adolescents

A wild ride through the chaotic landscape of punk rock, ADOLESCENTS burst onto the scene in the early 80s with their electrifying energy and rebellion. Hailing from Fullerton, California, this band is not your typical group of teenagers. Fronted by the charismatic Tony Cadena, ADOLESCENTS have made a name for themselves with their catchy hooks, blistering guitar riffs, and angst-filled lyrics. Their debut self-titled album, released in 1981, remains a classic in the punk genre, with tracks like "Amoeba" and "Kids of the Black Hole" striking a chord with disaffected youth everywhere. But don't let their age fool you - these guys may be called ADOLESCENTS, but their music is anything but juvenile. With a raw and unapologetic sound, the band has continued to evolve over the years, experimenting with different styles and pushing the boundaries of punk rock. From sold-out shows in sweaty basements to headlining festivals around the world, ADOLESCENTS have proven time and time again that they are a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. So grab your combat boots, spike your hair, and get ready to mosh - ADOLESCENTS are here to rock your socks off.
