Our Take
Ah, Poco, the country-rock band that's been flying under the radar for decades. Who would have thought that Live at Columbia Studios would be the album to bring them back into the spotlight? From the moment the record starts, you're transported back to the 70s, where denim was in and banjos were cool. The twangy guitars and smooth harmonies will have you tapping your feet and reaching for a cowboy hat in no time. Lead singer Rusty Young's vocals are as warm and comforting as a southern summer day, while the rest of the band provides the perfect backdrop of nostalgic melodies. Tracks like "Crazy Love" and "Rose of Cimarron" will have you reminiscing about simpler times, when life was all about good music and good vibes. But don't be fooled by their laid-back sound – these guys can still rock out with the best of them. Just listen to their high-energy performance of "Keep On Tryin'" and try not to break out into a hoedown in your living room. Overall, Live at Columbia Studios is a must-listen for any fan of classic rock or country music.
