Our Take
Four Tet's recent live performance at Alexandra Palace left fans and critics alike in a state of absolute euphoria. The electronic music maestro delivered a set that was nothing short of a transcendental experience. From the moment Kieran Hebden took to the stage, it was clear that we were in for something special. With his signature blend of intricate beats and ethereal melodies, Four Tet treated the audience to a masterclass in live performance. The visuals accompanying the music were stunning, with a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns that perfectly complemented the music. It was like being transported to another dimension, where sound and light merged to create a truly immersive experience. Tracks like "Two Thousand and Seventeen" and "Love Cry" sounded even better live, with Hebden's expert manipulation of loops and samples creating a hypnotic groove that had the crowd in a collective trance. The energy in the room was palpable, with everyone present fully enveloped in the music.
