Ah, bloomin' 'ell, what do we have 'ere then? Various Artists' "Let's Make Every Day a Christmas Day"? Well, slap on me mistletoe and call me Rudolph, this is a right cheeky little album, innit? From the get-go, you're hit with a barrage of jingle bells, ho ho hos, and enough sleigh bells to make even Santa's reindeer blush. It's like Noddy Holder spiked the eggnog and decided to make a festive fever dream of an album. And you know what? I'm here for it. Tracks like "Mince Pies and Mulled Wine" by The Tinsel Town Band and "Rockin' around the Christmas Tree" by The Jingle Janglers are absolute crackers. They've got more Christmas spirit than your nan after three glasses of sherry. But it's not all sleigh rides and snowflakes, oh no. There's a darker side to this album too. "The Ghost of Christmas Past" by The Haunted Hearths and "Silent Night, Deadly Night" by The Slay Belles are enough to send shivers down your spine while you're roasting chestnuts on an open fire.
