Our Take

Ah, Len Goodman's Legends - Best of British. Quite an interesting compilation, I must say. This album is a bit like a traditional English pub - full of nostalgia and familiar tunes, but with a few surprises thrown in to keep things interesting.

The tracklist is a mixed bag of legendary British artists spanning multiple decades, from The Beatles to Adele. It's like a musical journey through time, with each song evoking memories of different eras in British music history.

The standout track for me has to be "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. It's a classic that never fails to get the crowd singing along, and this live version really captures the energy and passion of Freddie Mercury's performance.

That being said, there are a few tracks on the album that feel a bit out of place. The transition from The Rolling Stones to Ed Sheeran is a bit jarring, to say the least. It's like going from a pint of Guinness to a cup of Earl Grey - both great in their own right, but not necessarily a seamless transition.

Overall, Len Goodman's Legends - Best of British is a fun and lighthearted listen that will please fans of British music old and new. Just be prepared for a few unexpected twists and turns along the way. Cheers!
