Ah, Krautrock - the genre that keeps on giving. Various Artists' latest compilation, "Krautrock Eruption," is a delightful cacophony of sounds and textures that will transport you to another dimension faster than you can say Neu!. From the avant-garde experimentalism of Can to the cosmic jams of Ash Ra Tempel, this album has something for every discerning listener. The opening track, Faust's "It's a Rainy Day, Sunshine Girl," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its hypnotic grooves and ethereal vocals. It's like being serenaded by angels while drifting through the cosmos on a psychedelic cloud. And things only get weirder from there.
