Our Take
When I first heard that The Corrs were releasing a new album in 2017, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. But after giving Jupiter Calling a listen, I can confidently say that this album is out of this world. From the ethereal harmonies to the Celtic-inspired instrumentation, The Corrs have truly outdone themselves on this latest offering. The album kicks off with the hauntingly beautiful "Son of Solomon", a track that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Andrea Corr's vocals soar over the lush arrangements, creating a soundscape that is both ambient and captivating. Tracks like "SOS" and "Butter Flutter" showcase the band's ability to blend traditional Irish folk with a modern pop sensibility. The production on the album is top-notch, with each instrument shining through in the mix.
