The Grateful Dead are back with another dose of their signature psychedelic rock, and boy, do they still know how to jam! Jerry's Last Stand is a fitting title for this album, as it truly feels like the late Jerry Garcia's swan song with the band. From the moment the first track kicks in, you're transported to a world where time seems to stand still and every strum of the guitar feels like a portal to another dimension. Garcia's iconic guitar work is as mesmerising as ever, seamlessly blending with Phil Lesh's funky basslines and Bob Weir's haunting vocals. The standout track has to be "Fare Thee Well", a 10-minute epic that showcases the Dead's ability to weave intricate melodies and mind-bending solos with effortless ease.
