Every once in a while, an album comes along that completely blows your mind and leaves you questioning your existence. "Insane / Love Is Dead" by PLEASURE DOME is NOT that album.
This limited edition release is a chaotic blend of 80s synthpop, industrial rock, and pure madness. From the opening track "Insane", you are immediately hit with a wall of sound that is as abrasive as it is confusing. It's like being trapped in a fever dream while surrounded by glitter-covered aliens – it's overwhelming, to say the least.
But don't let that put you off just yet. As you delve deeper into the album, there are moments of pure genius scattered amongst the chaos. Tracks like "Void" and "Electric Romance" showcase the band's ability to craft infectious melodies and catchy hooks that will have you dancing – or at least attempting to dance – in your living room.
