Our Take

INFURIATE's self-titled debut album is a rollercoaster of emotions, much like dealing with a toddler on a sugar high. From the moment you press play, you're hit with a wall of sound so intense it'll make your grandma's dentures rattle. With tracks like "Rage Against the Washing Machine" and "Fury of the Traffic Jam," INFURIATE unapologetically screams in your face like a drunk football hooligan at a karaoke bar.

The band's ability to seamlessly blend elements of thrash metal, punk rock, and angry grandparent poetry is truly something to behold. At times, the album feels like a chaotic mess of noise, but in a way that's oddly captivating, like watching a cat trying to catch a laser pointer.

Lead singer Dave "The Madman" Smith's vocals are a highlight, ranging from guttural growls to ear-piercing screams that would make even Ozzy Osbourne raise an eyebrow. Meanwhile, the guitar work by shredder extraordinaire, Sarah "The Slayer" Johnson, is as intricate and aggressive as a shark in a feeding frenzy.

Overall, INFURIATE's debut album is a wild ride that will leave you simultaneously headbanging and questioning your life choices. It's loud, it's angry, and it's sure to give your neighbours a reason to call the police. In the words of INFURIATE themselves, "F*** yeah!"
