Our Take

KINGS OF THE FXXXXX SEA have made quite the splash with their latest live album, In Concert. The band brings their signature blend of pirate-inspired folk rock to the stage, filling the venue with the energy and swagger of a rowdy crew of seafaring musicians.

From the moment the opening notes of "Yo Ho Ho (And a Bottle of Rum)" ring out, it's clear that KINGS OF THE FXXXXX SEA are here to party. The band's dynamic performances and catchy shanties had the audience dancing in their seats, raising their tankards in salute to the high seas.

Lead vocalist Captain Blackbeard's gravelly voice cuts through the music like a cutlass through sailcloth, commanding attention with every chorus. The rest of the crew, including First Mate Barnacle Bob on accordion and Swab the Deck Steve on drums, provide a rollicking backdrop that never fails to get toes tapping.

Highlights of the album include the rollicking "Jolly Roger Jig" and the epic ballad "Siren's Song," which showcases the band's more emotive side. Throughout the set, KINGS OF THE FXXXXX SEA show off their musical prowess and infectious enthusiasm, making for a concert experience that's as entertaining as it is unforgettable.

In Concert is a treasure trove of pirate-themed fun that will have you singing along and dreaming of the open sea. So grab your eyepatch and prepare to set sail with KINGS OF THE FXXXXX SEA – you won't be disappointed. Arrrrr!
