"I'm Totally Fine With It, Don't Give A Fuck Anymore" is a delightful reminder that some things never change, and thank god for that. From the moment the needle hits the emoji-yellow vinyl, you know you're in for a wild ride - or at least a mildly amusing one. The album kicks off with the lead single "I'm Totally Fine With It," a sardonic anthem for the disillusioned masses. Malcolm Middleton's deadpan vocals are as cutting as ever, while Aidan Moffat's casual indifference shines through in every lyric. It's a match made in heaven - or perhaps more accurately, in a dingy Glasgow pub. As the record progresses, we're treated to a smorgasbord of witty observations, sarcastic quips, and dark humour. Tracks like "Don't Give A Fuck Anymore" and "Emoji Yellow Vinyl" showcase Arab Strap at their most caustic and carefree, with no fucks given and no apologies offered.
