Our Take
Crystal Glass's latest album "I'meltingin" is like diving headfirst into a swirling disco ball of sound. The band brings a unique blend of 80s synth-pop nostalgia with a modern twist that is as refreshing as a cool glass of Pimm's on a hot summer day. From the opening track "Crystalize Me" to the closing ballad "Fading Echoes", each song on the album is a glittering gem in its own right. The infectious melodies and catchy hooks will have you tapping your foot and singing along in no time. Lead singer Luna Starlight's vocals are like a velvet glove wrapped around your heart, while guitarist Leo Stardust's riffs are sharper than a diamond-tipped pickaxe. The rhythm section, comprised of drummer Stella Nova and bassist Orion Eclipse, keep things grooving like a well-oiled machine. Standout tracks include "Neon Dreams", a pulsating anthem that will have you reaching for your neon leg warmers, and "Midnight Mirage", a dreamy slow jam that is perfect for late-night drives along the coast. "I'meltingin" is a shimmering, sparkling masterpiece that will transport you to a glittering disco paradise.
