Our Take
Queen's Hot Space album is like throwing a party at Buckingham Palace and inviting your eccentric auntie who likes to dance on the tables. It's a chaotic mix of disco, funk, and new wave that will leave you questioning whether you've accidentally stumbled into a time machine back to the 80s. From the opening track "Staying Power," Queen declares their intentions loud and clear, with Freddie Mercury's smooth vocals gliding over a bed of funky basslines and sizzling synths.
