Our Take
Our Take
Dirtyprotest's latest album, "Hellstorm," is an absolute riot from start to finish. The band's unique blend of punk, ska, and funk is like a musical tornado tearing through your speakers.
From the moment the opening track kicks in, you know you're in for a wild ride. The energy is infectious, the riffs are razor-sharp, and the lyrics are as cheeky as ever.
Lead singer Johnny Rottenapple delivers his lines with a snarl that can freeze water, while guitarist Shreddy Mercury shreds like his life depends on it. The rhythm section of bassist Flea Bag and drummer Animal keep the whole thing chugging along with military precision.
Standout tracks include the blistering "Rage Against the Washing Machine" and the anthemic "Anarchy in the Living Room." But really, there isn't a weak moment on the entire album.
So grab a pint, crank up the volume, and get ready to start a riot in your living room. "Hellstorm" is a chaotic masterpiece that will leave you breathless and begging for more.

About the artist
Dirtyprotest
DIRTYPROTEST: The reigning kings of chaos and creativity in the UK music scene, DIRTYPROTEST have made a name for themselves with their electrifying live performances and genre-defying sound. Hailing from the grimy streets of East London, this four-piece band has been causing a stir with their unique blend of punk, rock, and electronic influences. Frontman Johnny Rotten famously described their music as "a sonic assault on the senses," and he's not wrong. From the pounding drums and gritty guitars to the pulsating synths and anarchic vocals, DIRTYPROTEST's music is a full-on sonic assault that will leave you exhilarated and breathless. But don't let their punk rock swagger fool you – these boys are serious musicians with serious chops. Their debut album, "Chaos Theory," received critical acclaim for its raw energy and uncompromising attitude, and they have only continued to push the boundaries with each subsequent release. DIRTYPROTEST's live shows are a sight to behold – a wild, sweaty, unapologetically raucous affair that will leave you buzzing long after the last chord has faded. Whether they're playing to a packed club in Shoreditch or headlining a festival stage, DIRTYPROTEST bring an energy and intensity to the stage that few can match. So if you're looking for a band that will shake you out of your complacency and make you question everything you thought you knew about music, look no further than DIRTYPROTEST. These boys are the real deal – a shot of adrenaline straight to the heart of the UK music scene.
